When it comes to explaining why Collinsville lost, one person who can't be blamed is Carter Scott. Despite the final result, he scored ten points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Scott has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Chad Davidson was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Alvord is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. As for Collinsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
Alvord will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Era at 7:30 p.m. As for Collinsville, they will head out on the road to face off against Muenster at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
