Baseball Recap: Swett Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Swett's offense. They lost 7-0 to the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Swett saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Gibson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. Gibson has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times he's played.

Swett's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6-2. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.
