Basketball Recap: Branson Comes Up Short

Branson lost against Parkview back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Branson Pirates fell to the Parkview Vikings 52-47. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Vikings are ranked 24th).

Branson has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Parkview, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Branson has already played their next game (against Monett), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Parkview has already played their next contest, a 48-46 loss against Milton on the 17th.
