Newmarket barely beat Wilton-Lyndeborough the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mules put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 13-4 victory on Wednesday. The Mules might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Newmarket's fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Wilton-Lyndeborough, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Newmarket beat the Warriors by a score of 22-6 later that day.
