Basketball Game Preview: King's Christian Knights vs. Collingswood Panthers

The King's Christian Knights will head out to face off against the Collingswood Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

King's Christian fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Winslow Township on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 47-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite their defeat, King's Christian saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Matt Johnson, who posted 12 points, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Cam Homer, who earned ten points.

Meanwhile, Collingswood unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 54-40 bruising from Eastside on Monday.
