Basketball Game Preview: Lake Park-Audubon Raiders vs. Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets

The Lake Park-Audubon Raiders will square off against the Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Park-Audubon has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with six straight defeats, while Hillcrest Lutheran Academy will come in with three straight victories.

Last Thursday, Lake Park-Audubon ended up a good deal behind Brandon/Evansville and lost 80-62.

Meanwhile, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy was fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal 63-29.

Hillcrest Lutheran Academy's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points over those games. As for Lake Park-Audubon, their loss dropped their record down to 4-25.

Lake Park-Audubon was dealt a bruising 65-26 defeat at the hands of Hillcrest Lutheran Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Thankfully for Lake Park-Audubon, Noah Brumfield (who went 13-for-19 on his way to 31 points along with seven rebounds and three steals) won't be suiting up this time.
