Basketball Recap: Brewer Takes a Loss

Brewer lost against Hampden back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Brewer Witches were dealt a 77-48 loss at the hands of the Hampden Broncos. The Witches have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brewer's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Hampden, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Brewer has already played their next game (against Nokomis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hampden will challenge Bangor at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Hampden has won three straight at home, while Bangor won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
