Baseball Recap: Northfield Comes Up Short

Northfield lost against Churubusco back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Norsemen came up short against the Eagles, falling 9-3. The Norsemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northfield saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Korbin Haupert, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Northfield now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Churubusco, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Northfield will head out on the road to challenge Taylor at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Churubusco, they will host Fairfield at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Falcons have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
