After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Le Roy, Geneseo was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Pavilion Golden Gophers by a score of 3-1. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Golden Gophers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Geneseo was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 17-25, 25-15, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Lily McBride and Haley Adamson, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Kendall LaFleur and her 20 assists. Hazel Davis controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Geneseo's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Pavilion, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Geneseo will square off against Avon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pavilion, they will take on Caledonia-Mumford at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
