Volleyball Recap: Clarksville Falls Short Against Ranked Franklin

Clarksville faced Franklin in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Admirals. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Clarksville lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Reagan Steinsultz, who had ten digs and two assists.

Franklin can attribute much of their success to Gracie Stoebner, who had seven digs and two aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Clarksville fell to 25-1. As for Franklin, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-6.

Clarksville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Ryle on the 19th. As for Franklin, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Summit on the 19th.
