Clio entered their tilt with Standish-Sterling on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 11-0 victory. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

Clio let Samantha Rinks and Summer Stevens run wild. Rinks went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Stevens went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. Those three RBI gave Stevens a new career-high. Kelcy Sperling was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Clio was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .440. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .406 or higher in three consecutive games.

Clio's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Standish-Sterling, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.

Coincidentally, Clio and Standish-Sterling will both be playing Reese the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will head out to face the Rockets at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
