Millard had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Grand County Red Devils on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won four contests in a row.

Millard found their leader in sophomore Blaklie Davies, who had eight digs and two aces.

Millard was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive matchups.

Millard's win bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Grand County, their loss dropped their record down to 8-15.

Millard has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Draper APA on the 24th. As for Grand County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Kanab on the 24th.
