Volleyball Recap: Metea Valley Comes Up Short

The Metea Valley Mustangs came up short against the Downers Grove North Trojans on Friday and fell 2-0. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12.

Om Kota paced Metea Valley's offense, picking up four kills. Kota got some help from Rushil Gandhi and his 12 assists.

Metea Valley now has a losing record of 16-17. As for Downers Grove North, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 31-4.

Metea Valley has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against St. Francis on the 24th. As for Downers Grove North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Islamic Foundation on the 26th.
