Evanston lost against New Trier back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Evanston Wildkits took a 63-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Trier Trevians. The Wildkits' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Evanston's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for New Trier, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-12.

Evanston and New Trier should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Evanston will take on Warren Township at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday up 203 places (199 vs. 402). Similarly, New Trier (ranked 119th) will meet Oak Park-River Forest (ranked 428th) at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
