Soccer Game Preview: Windermere vs. Boone

The Windermere Wolverines will head out on the road to challenge the Boone Braves at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Windermere is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.9 goals per game this season.

Windermere is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Horizon just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Wolverines' first draw of the season.

Alfredo Adrian was the only thing that stood between Windermere and a shutout considering he scored both of Windermere's goals, bringing his season total up to 16 goals.

Meanwhile, Boone has been on a difficult stretch since their win on November 20. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Winter Park on Tuesday.

Boone's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-2. Windermere's draw makes their record 9-1-1 this season.
