Recap: The Christian Academy vs. Delaware County Christian Knights
The Christian Academy pushed their score all the way to 66 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Delaware County Christian by a score of 68-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Tuesday (58), The Christian Academy still had to take the loss.
Delaware County Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Khamai Orange, who scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Another player making a difference was Beau Lyren, who scored 17 points.
The Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Delaware County Christian, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
The Christian Academy will be playing at home against Morrisville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Delaware County Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Dock Mennonite at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
