Football Recap: Sesser-Valier/Waltonville's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Sesser-Valier/Waltonville came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 24-20 W against the Eldorado Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Red Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Eldorado still got an impressive performance from Kaiden Henson, who rushed for 89 yards and two scores, and also caught one touchdown. Henson has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last four times he's played.

Sesser-Valier/Waltonville's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Eldorado, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Red Devils 14.6, the Indians 12.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
