Recap: King's Academy vs. Pinewood
The King's Academy Knights won against the Pinewood Panthers last Monday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Wednesday. King's Academy never let Pinewood onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The result kept King's Academy happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 19th.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Zander Guindy and
Isaac Guindy, who scored both of King's Academy's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 14 so far this season.
King's Academy pushed their record up to 10-4-2 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those eight matchups. As for Pinewood, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8-1.
King's Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Crystal Springs Uplands at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. King's Academy and Crystal Springs Uplands are at an even 4-4-2 over their past ten head-to-heads. Pinewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
