Volleyball Recap: Manchester Comes Up Short

Manchester was the 3-0 winner over Georgetown when they last played one another back in August of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Greyhounds lost 3-0 to the G-Men on Wednesday. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-11, 25-21.

Hayden Rideout paced Manchester's offense, picking up eight kills. Rideout got some help from Abby Lucas and her 14 assists. Kenidee Turner controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Manchester's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Georgetown, the win snapped their losing streak at six matches and leaves them with a 4-10 record.

Coming up, Manchester will venture away from home to take on Fayetteville-Perry at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Georgetown, they will take on Blanchester in a tournament on Monday.
