Recap: Park Crossing Thunderbirds vs. JAG Jaguars
It was a good run, but the Park Crossing Thunderbirds unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 70-49 walloping at the hands of JAG. Park Crossing has not had much luck with JAG recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
JAG's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ladarius Givan, who scored 26 points along with nine rebounds. The matchup was Givan's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Friendly, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds.
Park Crossing's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for JAG, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Park Crossing will take on Percy Julian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Percy Julian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 334 points over their last five games. As for JAG, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Dothan at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th.
