Basketball Recap: Valley View Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Cole Mcfarland and Davion Moore

Valley View lost against Corona back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles lost to the Panthers on the road by a 56-40 margin.

Valley View's loss came despite strong showings from Davion Moore and Cole McFarland. Moore went 6-for-11 en route to 14 points, while McFarland posted five points and three steals.

Valley View dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Corona, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Valley View won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Yucaipa at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Corona, they will face off against Miller at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
