Basketball Recap: Five Straight Road Wins for Dickinson

Clear Springs came into Wednesday's contest looking for another win against Dickinson, but David Chong wouldn't allow it. The Dickinson Gators strolled past the Clear Springs Chargers with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 56-40 thanks in part to Chong, who went 7 for 14 on his way to 19 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists. That's the most boards he has posted since back in January of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Malcolm McNair, who posted seven points. He also posted a block, marking his first of the season.

Dickinson pushed their record up to 16-11 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Clear Springs, the loss snapped their winning streak at 15 games and leaves them with a 27-4 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dickinson will head out to face off against Clear Falls at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Dickinson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches. As for Clear Springs, they are taking a road trip to square off against Deer Park at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
