Basketball Recap: Academy of the Holy Names Comes Up Short

After soaring to 56 points the game before, Academy of the Holy Names was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They were outmatched by the Tampa Catholic Crusaders and fell 64-19. The Jaguars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-14.

Gabriella Teixeira was Academy of the Holy Names' leading scorer, having posted six points.

Academy of the Holy Names has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Tampa Catholic, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8.
