Soccer Recap: Beaver Dam Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lomira last Monday, Beaver Dam came back down to earth. The Golden Beavers came up short against the Waunakee Warriors on Tuesday, falling 8-0. The loss continues a trend for Beaver Dam in their meetings with Waunakee: they've now lost six in a row.

Beaver Dam's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Waunakee, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Beaver Dam will take on Columbus at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Waunakee, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Sun Prairie East at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sun Prairie East's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
