Moravia came out on top against Southern Cayuga on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run fifth inning. The Blue Devils took their matchup against the Chiefs 9-6. Surprisingly, this marked the Blue Devils' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Moravia's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ella Green, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Another was Davida Jackson, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Moravia has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.2 runs. As for Southern Cayuga, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5.

Moravia will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Chiefs: the pair will be back at it again later today.
