After a string of four wins, Cody's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against the Cass Tech Technicians, falling 15-2.

Cody saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kj Rice, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. Keiyoun Tucker also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Cody's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Cass Tech, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Cass Tech didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-8 defeat against Dearborn on the 17th. Hopefully Cody paid attention to the Technicians' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Technicians at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
