Preview: Richards Warriors vs. Hansberry Bengals
The Richards Warriors will be home for the holidays to greet the Hansberry Bengals at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Thursday, Richards came up short against Bogan and fell 75-62.

Thomas scored a full 58.1% of Richards' points, the ninth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Davon Simpson, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and seven assists.
Even though they lost, Richards were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Hansberry scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Rowe-Clark with a sharp 83-61 win. That 83-61 margin sets a new team best for Hansberry this season.
Al Brooks jr was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds. The game was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ikee Brooks, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 assists.
