Volleyball Recap: Eastside College Prep Takes a Loss

Eastside College Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Castilleja Gators. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Gators when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-10, 25-9.

Castilleja can attribute much of their success to Aria Feitelberg, who had 15 digs and three aces. Feitelberg is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last four games she's played. Nyx Patel also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Eastside College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Castilleja, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Eastside College Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against East Palo Alto Academy on the 6th. As for Castilleja, they will take on King's Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
