Basketball Recap: Brystal Neilsen Key Part of a Team Effort in Wildcats Win

There's no place like home for Wilbur-Creston-Keller, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Selkirk Rangers by a score of 53-46 on Monday.

Wilbur-Creston-Keller got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brystal Neilsen out in front who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten boards. That makes it six consecutive games in which Neilsen has scored at least a third of Wilbur-Creston-Keller's points. Another player making a difference was Kaidyn Maioho, who went 8 of 19 en route to 19 points and six rebounds.

The win got Wilbur-Creston-Keller back to even at 3-3. As for Selkirk, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.

Wilbur-Creston-Keller will head out to face off against Manson at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Selkirk, they will host Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame on Saturday.
