Baseball Recap: Highlands' Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Highlands can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Apollo Ridge Vikings a 3-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Golden Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The result came thanks to Trent Durci's shutout, as he gave up just three hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jake King, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
