Soccer Game Preview: Bassick vs. Whitney RVT + How To Watch

The Bassick Lions will take on the Whitney RVT Owls at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bassick will be strutting in after a victory while Whitney RVT will be coming in after a defeat.

Bassick's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over Brookfield. The result was nothing new for Bassick, who have now won five matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Whitney RVT's offense. They came up short against Wright Tech on Thursday, falling 4-0. Whitney RVT have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The win made it two in a row for Bassick and bumps their season record up to 7-2-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two matchups. As for Whitney RVT, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Bassick beat Whitney RVT by a goal in their previous matchup back in September of 2016, winning 4-3. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Owls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
