If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Dike-New Hartford. On Friday they take on Jesup at Dike New Hartford High School at 7:30 PM. Jesup will need to watch out since Dike-New Hartford have now posted big point totals in their last five contests.

Dike-New Hartford got themselves on the board against East Marshall last Friday, but East Marshall never followed suit. Dike-New Hartford steamrollered East Marshall 53-0. Followers of Dike-New Hartford probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.

Meanwhile, Jesup have to be aching after a bruising 0-23 defeat to North Linn. This makes it the second loss in a row for Jesup.

Dike-New Hartford's win lifted them to 6-0 while Jesup's defeat dropped them down to 1-5. We'll see if Dike-New Hartford's success rolls on or if Jesup are able to steal their positive momentum.
