Baseball Recap: Burbank Comes Up Short

Burbank extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 3-12-1. They fell 7-2 to the Arcadia Apaches. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly five runs.

As for Arcadia, their record now sits at 14-9. The victory continues a trend for them in their matchups with Burbank: they've now won five in a row.

For Arcadia's part, Isaiah Spencer looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). Those eight strikeouts gave Spencer a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Jordan Vogel was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025. Evan Skinner was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one RBI.

While Burbank had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
