Recap: Coleman Bluecats vs. Blanco Panthers
The Coleman Bluecats are still winless after their match against the Blanco Panthers on Thursday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. Coleman fell just short of Blanco by a score of 40-38.
Leading Blanco to victory were Candice Lopez and Isabella Mitchell. Lopez scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals, while Mitchell scored 21 points. Lopez hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Ava Silva, who scored 3 points along with 5 rebounds.
Coleman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Blanco, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season.
