Softball Recap: White Hall's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

White Hall entered their tilt with Lakeside on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Rams. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

Bethany Roper spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, Allie Rushing was incredible, scoring four runs while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Maycey Langston also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

White Hall was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in four consecutive matches.

White Hall pushed their record up to 14-8-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Lakeside, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, White Hall will head out to take on Little Rock Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lakeside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
