Volleyball Recap: Osborne Comes Up Short

The Osborne Cardinals came up short against the New Manchester Jaguar on Thursday and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-8.

Hanley Gonzales paced Osborne's offense, picking up two kills. Gonzales got some help from Avah Ghersi and her two assists.

Osborne has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for New Manchester, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Osborne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Coretta Scott King YWLA on the 2nd. New Manchester has also already played their next game (against Kennesaw Mountain), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
