Softball Recap: Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Wins Going Away Against Weatherly

Our Lady of Lourdes Regional's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past Weatherly 25-10. The Red Raiders haven't had any issues with Weatherly recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Arianna Adams was a standout: she went a perfect 5-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Reaghan Fuller, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and one double.

Our Lady of Lourdes Regional always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .711. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Our Lady of Lourdes Regional's win bumped their record up to 2-10. As for Weatherly, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Our Lady of Lourdes Regional will welcome Nativity BVM at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Weatherly, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Minersville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
