Softball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Edison can now relate to. They fell 4-0 to the Bakersfield Christian Eagles on Friday.

Lauren Jones made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and one double.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Bakersfield Christian, their win was their 27th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-9.

Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bakersfield Christian, they will challenge Monache at 4:30 p.m. on the 31st. The Marauders will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
