Basketball Recap: Galesburg Takes a Loss

Galesburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Sterling Golden Warriors, falling 66-46. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-41 back in January.

Galesburg's loss dropped their record down to 8-21. As for Sterling, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-14 record this season.

Looking ahead, Galesburg will welcome Geneseo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Galesburg is facing Geneseo at the right time seeing as Geneseo is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Sterling, they will challenge East Moline United at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
