Baseball Recap: Harlan Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Harlan's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln Lynx on Wednesday. The shutout was out of character for the Cyclones seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in May.

This is the second loss in a row for Harlan and nudges their season record down to 21-10. As for Lincoln, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-28 record this season.

Harlan has already played their next game (against Atlantic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lincoln, they will face off against Sioux City North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Stars' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Lynx's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
