Basketball Recap: Annapolis Find Success

Annapolis won the last time they faced Aberdeen and things went their way on Monday too. The Panthers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 75-73.

Despite the loss, Aberdeen still got an impressive performance from Devin Murphy, who went 11-for-22 to rack up 28 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Trevor Zarzana, who shot 46% from the field en route to 15 points.

Annapolis' win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Aberdeen, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-10.

Coming up, Annapolis won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Southern at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aberdeen, they will head out on the road to take on Havre de Grace at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
