Soccer Game Preview: Milton vs. Moss Point

The Milton Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Moss Point Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Milton has three straight victories, Moss Point has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Milton's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Wednesday. Everything went their way against Crestview as they made off with a 5-0 win. Milton's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Moss Point faced off against Greene County on Tuesday. The Tigers might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Wildcats an easy 6-0 victory. That's two games in a row now that Moss Point have lost by exactly six goals.

Milton's win bumped their record up to 6-4-1. As for Moss Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
