Brooklyn College Academy put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Maxwell Vo-Tech 73-22 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Brooklyn College Academy has posted yet this season.
Meanwhile, East New York Family Academy pushed their score all the way to 78 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 79-78 to Friendship Collegiate Academy. It was the first time this season that East New York Family Academy let down their fans at home.
Brooklyn College Academy pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for East New York Family Academy, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-4.
Brooklyn College Academy beat East New York Family Academy 43-34 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Brooklyn College Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
