Softball Recap: Independence Takes a Loss

Independence's tournament run continued when they took on West Limestone on Friday. The Eagles came up short against the Wildcats, falling 13-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Independence saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reagan Maxon, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Independence now has a losing record of 12-13. As for West Limestone, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 34-5.

Independence wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Florence on the 19th. As for West Limestone, they have also already played their next matchup, an 11-0 victory against Giles County on the 19th.
