Recap: Pace Academy Knights vs. Lovett Lions
In what's become a running theme this season, the Pace Academy Knights gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 68-15 win over Lovett. While fans of Pace Academy might be used to big wins, the 53-point margin marked the team's biggest victory yet this season.
Kate Grice went supernova for Pace Academy, scoring 26 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Grice has scored all season. Lawson Monroe was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Pace Academy pushed their record up to 15-5 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Lovett, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-21.
Pace Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lovett, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Hampton at 6:00 p.m. on February 8th.
