Baseball Recap: Lake Arthur Takes a Loss

Lake Arthur's last matchup with Notre Dame could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Wednesday. The Tigers lost 12-4 to the Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in March.

Lake Arthur has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-16 record this season. As for Notre Dame, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-11 record this season.

Lake Arthur will venture away from home to face off against Reeves at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Notre Dame, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Welsh on the 3rd.
