Basketball Recap: Little Elm Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

Little Elm won the last time they faced Hebron, and Raniyah Hunt did her part to make sure it happened again. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, the Little Elm Lobos made off with a 40-39 win over the Hebron Hawks thanks in part to Hunt, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 16 points. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

Another player making a difference was Shiloh Kimpson, who posted 13 points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Little Elm and bumps their season record up to 8-21. As for Hebron, they dropped their record down to 10-18 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Little Elm will host Guyer at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Guyer will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Little Elm surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hebron, they will take on Lewisville at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hebron is facing Lewisville at the right time seeing as Lewisville is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
