Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cocoa). They claimed a resounding 68-7 victory over the Astronaut War Eagles. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the War Eagles are ranked 640th), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Cocoa and bumps their season record up to 11-5. As for Astronaut, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Cocoa will be taking part in a tournament against Titusville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Astronaut, they and Pineapple Cove Classical Academy will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Astronaut is facing Pineapple Cove Classical Academy at the right time seeing as Pineapple Cove Classical Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
