Volleyball Recap: Villa Madonna Takes a Loss

Villa Madonna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Boone County Rebels. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Villa Madonna now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Boone County, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Villa Madonna will face off against Bellevue at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Boone County, they will square off against Ryle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Rebels' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
