Volleyball Recap: University Comes Up Short + How To Watch

University was the 2-0 winner over Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trailblazers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders on Tuesday. The Trailblazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

University started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-17.

Brooke Henderson paced University's offense, picking up seven kills. Henderson got some help from Nyla Blanding and her 17 assists. Quinlan Litke controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Leading Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter to victory were Kennadi Dillard and Ann Chlupacek. Dillard had seven blocks and six kills, while Chlupacek had eight assists and six digs. The dominant performance also gave Chlupacek a new career-high in kills (two).

University's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter, their record now sits at 12-8.

University wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Greencastle on the 4th. Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter has also already played their next contest (against Covenant Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
